The core collection of the Newman Research Library was donated in August 2002 and consisted of the late Father Vince Giese's 600-volume Newman Library and the Archives of the Venerable John Henry Newman Association. Since then, Father Giese's founding contribution has grown to over 3,500 volumes, divided into 20 collections of Newman and Newman-related areas of interest.
