In order for languages to be well rooted in your head, there is only one thing to do: use them, repeat the things you have learned, put them into practice. Foreign languages must stop being such; that is, they must enter your daily life. We often talk about the importance of repetitions, of reviewing the knowledge learned in a language regularly to memorize them over the long term. However, devoting 5 minutes a day to reviewing and then spending the rest of the day away from the language will not allow you to immerse yourself in it, which is my advice.
